In this line of work, I’ve come to believe this deeply:
Not everyone needs advice first. Some just need to feel safe.
📥 Conversation 1:
“I’m poor credit rating. Previously, life was broke.”
💬 My reply: “It’s ok… we’ll work through it together, insyaAllah.”
📥 Conversation 2:
“I’m not in the best financial space… ada benda lain yang perlu prioritise dulu.”
💬 My reply: “Take your time. Don’t even worry about updating me until you’re really ready.”
📥 Conversation 3:
“Sorry Rafiq, it’s been a crazy month.”
💬 My reply: “It’s okay. We can reschedule. Just let me know when things settle down.”
These aren’t just nice replies. They’re intentional.
Because here’s the truth:
Sympathy says, “Poor you.”
Empathy says, “I get it — I’m here with you, no rush, no pressure.”
Many people carry shame, fear, or guilt about money. They’re not just trying to “be rich” — some are just trying to breathe.
As a planner, I’m not here to chase. I’m here to walk beside. Whether you’re ready now, later, or just thinking about it — that’s okay.
🔁 We plan when life allows.
🧭 We move when you’re ready.
🤝 And we walk this road together, not alone.
