Empowering your Employees
Note: I don’t know whether A&W Malaysia specifically has this policy.
Recently, ramai orang share pasal kes viral orang sakit kena gi kaunter gak untuk bawak keluar duit.
Orang komen, takde hati perut ke, tkde SOP ke etc.
Pengalaman dengan business / syarikat, kalau nak ada SOP utk semua benda mmg susah lah. Kita takleh nak imagine semua benda yang akan jadi.
Tapi apa yang boleh kita buat is empower our employees to make decisions based on certain guidelines.
Kalau orang tu tak boleh buat / tak berani buat decision, they must be trained to escalate. Ramai xnak escalate sebab takut kena marah dengan bos.
So bos2 / business owners dekat luar tu, kena keep open communication channels with your staff. Jangan asyik nak marah jer kalau staff buat salah.
A hallmark of a good manager kalau staff / subordinates berani bagi feedback / bercerita with regards to their problems sebab they know it won’t affect how they would be rated for their work performance.
