Happy New Year everyone.
My day has been very productive
1. Completed my 2024 Annual Budget and Identified what is the projected income I need to achieve to meet all my targets.
2. Prepared an annual holiday travel plan (to be finalized – but expected to be away for 39 days in 2024 for holidays)
3. Prepared by annual activity calendar for my advisory clients. While preparing it, I found some interesting info
a. Currently I am servicing 49 Full Financial Planning clients (21 couples) and 2 Modular Financial Planning clients. So a total of 51 fee-paying clients for the whole of 2023 (well within my expected goal of 50 fee-paying clients)
b. Busiest months for me (in terms of advisory clients) – Jan (8 ), June (5), July (6) and Aug (7). What does this mean? I’ll be less likely to take up new clients in those months (except replacing any clients who drops off)
c. Average client meetings monthly – 25 per month or around 50 hours or 6.5 man-days
4. Finalized a financial plan that was prepared by our para planners to present to the client later at 2 pm.
5. Contacted a few clients to follow up on decisions/actions and also to set up meetings for January 2024
6. Will have another client meeting tonight to go through estate planning with another advisory client that is back home in Malaysia for a short duration.
7. Fed and cleaned 3 newborn kittens this morning (that finally pooped after last night’s feeding – thanks to all that provided the advice from my last post)
