Tadi pagi ada jumpa seorang klien ni. Dah 4 tahun engage, tapi ni first time jumpa face to face.
Kenal initially through another client, and awal2 dia cuma nak tahu pasal estate planning jer.
After sharing about the financial planning services, she agreed to sign on. That was 4 years ago.
Pergi tadi sebab first time nak jumpa husband dia, yang nak join the financial planning service and nak buat fact finding for him.
Klien ni interesting, sebab husband is a green card holder (wife belum), so tax planning will be very important for this couple. Compared to others, US tax residents are taxed on worldwide income, termasuk investment returns (orang Malaysia patut bersyukur, kebanyakan investment kita tak kena tax).
Anyways, lepas habis fact finding, cakap to my assistant, jom pergi makan Ilham Nasi Kukus as the client punya rumah just 5-10 minutes away.
Masa dengar tu, client pun cakap , good idea, and the husband pun tak pernah makan Ilham lagi.
After end the meeting, we parted ways and drove to Ilham, and macam biasa ramai giler orang waktu lunch.
Masa tu, hantar la gambar beratur to the team dekat office, diaorang ada react, tapi takde siapa2 yang tanya boleh order bungkus tak.
Lepas balik office, ada lah dua tiga orang bagitau (sebab bau dia kuat), rugi lah tak order bungkus tadi (walaupun dah makan tengahari).
My answer, siapa suruh tak tanya…
Kenapa plak nak cerita pasal ni?
Berapa kali peluang lalu depan mata kita, tapi kita tak berani nak bukak mulut untuk tanya? Atau ambil tindakan?
Lepas tu, kita menyesal di masa akan datang, bila that same peluang bagi benefit dekat orang lain.
Cuma reflect balik dekat diri sendiri, kenapa kita tak ambil peluang / tindakan pada masa tu?
